The bathroom facilities in some rooms lack adequate privacy!!! the absence of an elevator makes lugging heavy bags a real struggle, especially to the higher floors!!!

absoluteley beautiful guesthouse, but the noise from the street was unbearable, disrupting sleep. and don't get me started on the basement economy room. it was humid and smelled like mold! as a guest who expected to be treated special, a welcome gift would’ve been nice. i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

The location made it easy to explore Porto, just a 10-15 minute walk to the city center. The room had a beautiful ambiance, featuring high ceilings and charming decor that added character. Staff members were consistently helpful, offering valuable local recommendations. The breakfast spread included delicious homemade jams, tea, and coffee available throughout the day. the economy room was quite a disappointment. It lacked sufficient natural light and felt a bit cramped, especially the bathroom facilities. There was no elevator, which made carrying our bags to the second floor a task. the Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent, sometimes making it difficult to plan our day online.

The Superior Double Room has everything! Air conditioning, a walk-in shower, and a flat-screen TV. The private bathroom offers free toiletries and a hairdryer. Plenty of towels and a comfy non-feather pillow, too. Plus, the high ceilings give it a spacious feel. Really enjoyed the spa facilities as well!

Had an awesome time with my friends! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the famous Livraria Lello and the historic Ribeira area. The breakfast was fantastic. we loved the variety and the freshly squeezed orange juice. Plus, the staff made us feel right at home, offering helpful tips and recommendations for exploring the area.

One downside was the internet connection. it was weak and hard to use, making it tricky to stay connected during our trip.

stayed at bo, alvares cabral guesthouse for two nights and loved the superior double room. it was large, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. the location is perfect, just a short walk to the clerigos area. i appreciated the nice staff, who extended our parking time until we returned our rental car. plus, the homemade jams during breakfast were a tasty treat.

It was just a balanced option for a brief hiatus in Porto with good value. The owners treated us to delightful appetizers, which made our stay feel special. If you enjoy a quiet patio, you'll love it here.
